Quickstart

House Designer runs in your browser — no download, no account. Open app.buildmy.house and follow three steps.

01 / PLAN

Pick Wall in the toolbar and click to lay out your walls. Double-click to finish a run; press Esc to stop.

02 / FURNISH

Open Furniture, click a piece in the catalog, then click the plan to place it.

03 / WALK

Switch the view to 3D — or leave it on Split to see plan and 3D side by side.

Toolbar tools

Select V: Click a wall, room, or furniture item to select it and edit its properties in the side panel.
Wall W: Draw walls on the plan. Measurements stay editable as you go.
Dim: The dimension tool: add dimension lines to the plan to mark a measurement.
Text: The text tool: add a text label to the plan.
Furniture F: Opens the furniture catalog. Pick a piece, then click the plan to place it. Press Esc to cancel placing.

Undo and Redo sit next to the tools (Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y). The Split, Plan and 3D buttons switch the view.

Everything under the File menu:

Export Plan as PNG…: Saves the floor plan as an image.
Export 3D View as PNG…: Saves the current 3D view as an image.
Export Scene for LuxCore Render…: Saves your scene as a file for rendering with LuxCore.
Print Plan…: Opens your browser's print dialog for the plan.

Use File → Save and Open to keep a project as a file on your computer.
